Happy thanksgiving

In 1578 an English explorer by the name of Martin Frobisher held a celebration in what is now Newfoundland to give thanks for surviving a two thousand mile ocean journey from England to North America that only one of his twenty ships survived. This day is acknowledged to be the first Canadian Thanksgiving.
